I used to see a few around Oxford way until the last couple of years ago.  My 1993 9000 has 155000 on the clock.  I had, until last month, a 1996 with 230000 on the clock, but I've stripped it for parts and scrapped the remainder as I don't have the time to rebuild the engine that was blown when I bought it.

Sadly, these are starting to succumb to rust issues, despite the high build quality and they're getting rarer by the year.  I checked on howmanyleft.co.uk, for mine and there are now only 4 left in the UK of that type and year which makes it rarer than something like an Austin 7 by quite a long way.

These guys http://store.eternalcar.com/ have a good selection of exhaust parts.  They're in Germany, but delivery to the UK was quick and cheap

Possibly a long shot, but have a good sniff at the DI cartridge.  They can burn out without warning.  Take it out of the car and smell it.  If it stinks, then that's the problem and it's only a 5 minute job to do
