What you got?
« on: 26 June 2011, 11:17:06 PM »
I will start this off with my car, 2006 9-3 Aero in fusion blue with tuned ecu only other modifications so far are Eibach springs, tinted windows, body mouldings all colour coded and a rear lip spoiler at the top of the rear screen, planned next is a dual exit exhaust.

Wife drives an 03 9-3 Vector, and I also have an 56 Grande Punto Arbarth and a 99 Saab 9-5  :o

So what have you got, and what have you done to it? If anything

9-5 TiD Auto Estate here, also in Fusion Blue. Mine's a boring Linear SE so no leather or other interesting goodies. Have managed to get over 50mpg several times on a run, which I'm very pleased with considering the official combined is 37.2mpg  8)

Latest in a succession of Saabs, bought last month after four loooong Saabless years:

1994 C900 convertible.  Originally Scarabe Green automatic, now Ruby Red manual with Aero kit.  The previous owner-but-one did a truckload of work on this car, including a full engine rebuild and a very nearly new gearbox (now with LSD) from a 2,900-mile write off.  A few electrical and vacuum issues to sort, on which I'm hoping for help from this forum, but it's lovely.

Other car is a ten-year-old Volvo V70 T5 at the mo but I suspect that will change soon.

2002 model on an 03 plate SAAB 9-5 2.0t Arc Auto, in that oh so fashionable steel grey. I want to mod it but just don't get around to doing it!

Hello friends! Jan 2005, 54 plate, pre-Edna 9-5 Vector auto saloon, Smoke Beige, Hirsched software and supension, acquired in late 2005 at 13k miles, just turned over 92k, now owned it nearly 18 months longer than any other car in over 40 years. Previous cars include Citroens, Peugeots, Vauxhalls, but NEVER a Ford.

Hello and welcome!

Out of interest, why never a Ford? I know from how despicably GM treated many of their franchises and then needed a bailout because they were too big to fail that I'd never buy a GM car ever again, also, never really liked Vauxhalls in the first place.

White (yes, white - this is probably enough for people to identify me even if I were to use a pseudonym...  ;)) CSE 2.3T auto, first reg. 6 Jan 1993, bought Nov '99 @ 67kkm, now about 145kkm (i.e. like me, it ought to get out more). It's white. Special feature (apart from being white): no-cost optional pure new Italian wool upholstery. Wheels: I'll have to look that one up, but they're the nearest I could get to the classic Turbo wheels I had on my previous 9ki (white).
