Sapphi: 2.3 900ng convertible
« on: 15 February 2012, 08:48:49 PM »
As I am asking help in another thread, I thought it only polite to introduce myself and my car. This was taken on a recent trip through France with a couple friends. It is amazing how much wine you can fit in the boot and still get the roof down!

Cool!  8) 8)

I wonder if you are like me and tend to try and get the roof down as much as possible... even when it's cold and clear or a possibility of rain?

Shiny: not often. That would involve washing her!

Yup, top down as long as it isn't raining. I suggested putting my roof down the other weekend, but my girlfriend refused to let me as it was below zero.

Heheh - my wife is a bit the same; likes the idea and image of open-air motoring, but doesn't like her hair being blown around  ::)
On the other hand my six-year old wants the roof down every time we go out - rain or shine; even though he is in the back on his childs seat where it is probably the most drafty.

I really enjoy going out on crisp, clear, frosty days (or nights for that matter) and was slightly worried when reading the handbook and it says don't attempt to lower/raise roof if temp is -5C - that cramps my style a bit  :-\

And what a weekend it has been for getting the roof down!
