A nice white 1995 Mitsubishi Colt. He swapped cars from a previous gen Colt on my third lesson...oh those shiny new alloys were always on my mind!

It's funny reading the name the manufacturers used to give to denote the model whereas now sometimes you have no idea which model is best....

You knew the GL (Grande-Lux) was better than the DL (De-lux) or the HL wasn't as good as the HLS but now with things like Tspirit and FSI etc................even our beloved Saabs range was confusing with Linear, Vector and Aero......

I initially learned to drive in a 1984 A reg Datsun/Nissan Sunny - and then switched to my dads B reg Mk 3 Escort!!!

And the some years later I passed the advanced driving test in a 200bhp Rover 820 Vitesse Sport fastback......(oh yes ;) still want one now!!)

And even later, I passed the Class 2 LGV test in a 54 reg Mercedes Atego 1823.......

Failed my advanced test first time,      ... for driving too SLOWLY.

Failed first time in an Austin A40 ::)

Passed in a Mini with a vicious clutch though. ;D
