Hi all!
First post, so thanks for the add to the group!
So, as title suggests when I open the drivers door the interior lights/puddle lights do not come on automatically. However, the passenger door and two rears function as they should when I open them. I have tested the drivers door loom with a multimeter and there is no voltage. All doors lock with the remote and all interior lights including glovebox work manually once in the car. I have checked fuses and all ok.
I was trying to locate the door switch in the door jamb which when you open door create an open circuit and therefore interior/puddle lights come on...but I can not find one!
I took a photo of my door jamb and have highlighted in red the area where I think needs investigation but thought I would reach out first before I start tearing stuff apart....
