(Fixed) Headlight Washer

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the jet for the fixed headlight washer just pulls off the blue pipe (see 1st picture)?  I need to attach the jet to the housing (2nd pic) (it was missing when I bought the car) and to do that I have to disconnect it from the hose somehow.  I have had a try at just pulling it but don't want to end up breaking it if it's meant to be connected to the blue part indefinitely.

There is a union in the line to the washer that separates. And there is a flat locking clip, mounted underneath, that holds the 'surround' on to the bumper cover securely. These drop off with vibration over time. It is easy enough to get the bumper cover off completely and you would get much better access to fix it.
