9000 CSE Boot struts
« on: 10 December 2012, 02:11:53 PM »
Looking for advice.

The boot struts on my 1997 CSE are no longer 'strutting' and I would like to replace with new, rather than second hand. I spotted this company whlist 'Googling' and was wondering if anyone here has used their struts, or can recommend any other supplier.

Thanks

Sorry, no idea about that company, but just thought I'd mention that both bonnet and boot struts seem to be adversely affected by the cold weather. I just replaced my bonnet struts this morning with a s/h pair of eBay, and if there's an easier job on a 9000 I'd like to find it! 5 min start to finish!

Thanks anyway. For the price quoted and peace of mind, I think I will give them a go. As you say fitting isn't a challenge, even for me!

Fitting is easy as long as you remember that you need to prop the boot open to take the strain off the struts!
