Put this in for an MOT today, partly as a bit of QC.
Not quite a pass,
NSF bottom ball joint (missed that, deceived by the invoice for a pair of them at the last MOT, the OSF actually was new), silly mistake, easy fix
Headlight aim - too high, but already fixed
Rear spring plate damaged - missed this, but it confirms that a pair of rear dampers / springs is the best solution, bolts already treated for easy removal
An advisory for a bit of play in one of the rear "void" / rose bushes. I'll recheck that, but based on previous experience I think I'll be buying a tool, this seems to have a decent review

I struggled with this simple job, but eventually decided the arms were slightly bent so tweaked them back where I thought they should be.
Note for others, and myself in case I ever forget: Green rollers in the grooves with the retaining pin, press the ball joint onto the roller, front one first. Should be a doddle really
