Drying out carpets
« on: 13 February 2018, 09:18:43 AM »
It's raining today, so I'll hopefully be able to check the carpets later when I get home to see if any water has got into the front or rear passenger footwells. The carpets seemed dry yesterday, but that led me to wonder what the best way would be to dry the carpets and insulation out, if they do get sodden.

Anyone had to do this before?

Best way is to remove them from the car, but failing that try and lift the carpets so you get some air under them on a dry, windy day, with the doors open. Alternative is to stick a dehumidifier in the car overnight.
