It did it a few times on my last 9-5, but the frequency of window up/down is possibly higher than most as I have to fob in and out of work every day.
I identified that there is a weakness in the design- the mechanism is pop riveted to the door. This flexes as the window goes up and down and the aluminium of the rivets starts to wear with time, allowing more flex/movement etc.
I replaced the rivets with screws and washers and didn't have to replace the rollers again.
