But you do see'em, Jim, usually driven by what I'd have called in my cruder younger days "double baggers" !

Anyway. Aren't Saabs lovely looking cars?

For the Renault Clio driving female fraternity....

When joining a 3-lane dual carriageway from a slip road go immediately into the middle lane, regardless of whether there is a car in the inside lane or not....  Continue in the middle lane until you wish to leave the carriageway, when you do so, swerve in front of car that is in the left hand lane and brake sharply.  Driver in left hand lane will vigorously demonstrate his approval of your action by waving.  While in the middle lane you will encounter other users in front of you who might be overtaking cars on the inside lane, drive up to the bumper of these inconsiderate users forcing them into the left lane at the earliest opportunity thus facilitating your progress.

WHY IS IT THAT MANY CLODS ARE TOO AFRAID TO GO INTO THE RIGHT HAND LANE? candidates for my death squads they are....

When driving in the Middle East, always be sure to drive like a complete and utter 'A' hole between traffic lights. That way you will ensure that pedestrians will later get to scrutinize your modified car after the utter devastation that you caused...

Here's a couple more...

A traffic light is only red if you can see it head-on. If it is above your eye-line it doesn't count.

Indicating to turn should be done simultaneously with the turning of the steering wheel, to prevent other road users from guessing your intentions. If you accidentally signal a turn too early, cancel the signal, flick it the other way momentarily, then back to the first direction again just as you turn off.

When meeting an oncoming vehicle in a narrow country lane, priority is with the black SUV driven by the blonde in Ray-bans, as the combination of shades and 20%-transmission privacy glass means she cannot see to reverse, and couldn't back the car even if she could see, as she always gets hubby to do that for her when he comes back from Canary Wharf in the evening.

Unsilenced exhausts are only illegal if you can hear them above the sound of the stereo.

This might already be up. Using a mobile phone on the loudspeaker setting doesn't count as illegal use. As pointed out to me yesterday by a BMW driver.

Warn fellow motorists on the M25 that you are using your mobile phone while driving your Insignia....

Drive at 40 mph with hazards flashing
