Having struggeld this w/e with replacing a drop link with split bush (not actually too bad) and decided to do the front arb bush while there (bad move, a right PIA) on the offside, I found that there is a little play in the inner track rod joint. I will have to do it at some point before the next MOT and PFS do them at reasonable price.
Is it possible to do it with the rack in situ? Space looks very tight to wield a spanner in any direction and I have found these are pretty tight on other cars, but removal of the rack and PS gear looks too much for the time I have and that would lead it to join the spares mountain.
