Thought I'd have another go disinfecting the a/c, so lifted the scuttle/plenum cover. The pollen filter was a bit grubby but not too bad. But the surround that holds it has a broken clip on one side, so I could probably do with a replacement.
That would also allow me to fit a new seal / gasket between the housing and the body, as the one on there now looks dried out and like it doesn't seal very well.
So the question is, can one buy the pollen filter housing new, complete with gasket, or do I need to go to a scrappies, and buy some draught excluder to use as a seal?
