Will a full size 17 spare wheel for an Aero fit in the spare wheel well and still allow the boot floor to fit over the top? At the monent I have the obligatory space saver!!!

It should do.  Some markets require a full size spare.  And the Carlsson was supplied with one.  It's only a 17 inch with a 225/45 17 tyre, but it fits over the standard 17 inch brakes at the front.  I tried a 235 18 tyre with the 18 inch wheel and it was just too high for the floor to sit flat. The 17 inch tyra actually supports the boot florr, so it's a tight fit.  The body at the bottom of the well for the wheel is domed, so the wheel will only sit with the outside of the wheel upwards. You can't turn it up the other way and store stuff inside the wheel.

Someobe was selling a single 9-3 Aero 10 spoke wheel and it was quite cheap, and I wondered if it was worth getting.

As long as you fit a 225 wide tyre, it should be fine.

No..floor sits about 10-12mm higher with wheel in place..Plus you have to cut the housing for the jack etc ,so it sits underneath the wheel..

I was wondering if it was actually worth the hassle. I only thought of it because I saw the price.

Our 17 inch wheel only fits because the wheel well is completely bare. The tyre rests on the metal  bottom of the well with no foam supports.
