Am i correct in thinking the auxiliary belt replacement is similar to the peugeot xud engines. Square hole in the tensioner and pull it back and lock it then belt off and on.

Yes.  Lock it with a pin/allen key.  You have to remove the wheel and arch liner to get at the tensioner.

Done. Without removing wheel etC. Took off the AirAir box and put a socket on the tensioner bolt and turned it.
