Hi folks,
I had my MY2004 9-3SS in pieces today whilst I upgraded the stereo to included the AMP2 in the boot. This involved pulling the B-pillar trim off which covers the front passenger side seat belt mechanism.
Whilst the trim was unclipped, I noticed there was what appeared to be a white plastic guide through which the seat belt travels. It was loose and looked like it should clip onto the belt inertia reel. However, when I did so, it seemed to cause too much friction and stopped the belt from retracting properly.
Anybody familiar with this white guide and know how it should be properly attached? I would have taken some photos to post, but I was a bit too busy wrestling with the trim at the time. It was a bit of a handful.
I did check the driver's side for comparison and that was loose too. Guess I have just found where a couple of my cabin rattles are coming from!
Thanks.
