Wanted: Front & Rear bumper.
TWO door model
SAAB 99 turbo.
Model year 1980.

My 99T is currently under restoration at JamSAAB here in the UK and I would like to try and find 'new' bumpers and inserts. This particular model has the narrow 6mm chrome insert, not the wider version found on earlier 3 door 99Ts.

The revised plan for the 'SAAB September S'troll'

Meet up on Durdham Downs next to the water tower at around 10am for 'The Avenue' monthly meet. There is usually great mix of cars, motorbikes and scooters parked up with a cafe, toilets and plenty of parking available.

Some may recognise it  - it is where we parked for the Bristol Car Show

And to make it more of a day, if we have enough interest, we could then do the following:

Around mid-day we convoy to Ashton Court mansion (about 10-15 minutes away) for a s'troll around the mansions grounds and gardens, visit the deer park or wander through the woods.

There is a cafe serving snacks and hot food, toilets and a small exhibition of the house in the converted stables. It is all FREE to visit.

Everyone happy with this?

Announcements & Events / 6th July Classics in the walled Garden
« on: 05 July 2011, 10:52:28 AM »
Tomorrow night folks! (I tried to post this in the Events section but there does not appear to be any 'New Topic' buttons)

Classics in the Walled Garden is an evening picnic within and around the historic Walled Garden on the Luton Hoo Estate.
As in 2010 a part of the Walled Garden hasbeen taken by a semi-permanent marquee. The event is for cars and motorcycles aged 20 years and old. Parking available, outside the Walled Garden on payment, for spectators and classics which havenít booked. On the night we will have some music, a
licensed bar, and some catering facilities. As in 2010 Iím planning on a tombola to raise extra funds. Luton Hoo Walled Garden is set in a beautiful estate with entry from the New Mill End Road along a lovely tree lined drive. NO ENTRY to the estate before 4pm. Proceeds from Classics in the Walled Garden will be divided between The Walled Garden Project, Help for Heroes and the Jumbulance Trust,
Last years event attracted around 650 cars and raised just over £3,000 for charity/good causes.

Peter Madden (Organiser)

[edit] Peter, this has been added to the Calendar for you.  We've also enabled access to the calendar for members to post their events.  This certainly looks like an interesting event.   8)
