What is special about this location?

Prescott Speed Hill Climb, one of the world’s most prestigious motor racing venues and home of the Bugatti Owners Club, is based just outside of Cheltenham, near Winchcombe, in beautiful Gloucestershire. Set in 60 acres of glorious Cotswold countryside, the estate not only provides a beautiful setting, but also hosts major motor racing championships. The 1127 yard course rises over 200 feet via short straights, fast and slow corners and a breathtaking hairpin, with the fastest modern racing cars completing the course in an exciting 36 seconds.
The action can be viewed from strategic points as well as from the restaurant terrace, or you can walk the entire length of the course, through woodland and grassed areas making it ideal for picnics.

Sadly, I won’t be there. :(

Too much family has got in the way.  And as it has turned out, I haven’t got a car to go in anyway...

Well, things may change. :)   I may make it on Saturday for a short while.

The Saturday events here may be rearranged, so I don't have to be in S. London until after 6pm. If I leave Prescott at 4pm.  It will be a long day though. :o

Hope you can make it will. Doesn't seem right, a SOC National without you being there!

I've missed quite a few in the past.

I did Uttoxeter in 2006? and Stratford in 2009?
2010 at Bath was my son's 30th birthday.
2011 at Haydock was deemed "too soon" after my heart attack to travel on my own.

But I've been to the ones since then...
2012 & 2013 Wicksteed Pk
2014 Lowestoft
2015 Cadwell
2016 Pembrey
2017 Hatton
