9-5 Aero drivers seat base

My old bus is getting a  bit tired.. [190,000]
9-5 Aero drivers seat base [not the back rest], can it be swapped with the passenger one?
Drivers is getting a bit saggy....

The main bits seem to be.  That's the metal seat pan, the foam and the leather cover.

The bit attached to the floor is handed, and the sliding bits immediately above.

Then the handles and plastic panels have to be swapped around.

That would seem to be a fair bit of work to swap them over, would you be better just getting another drivers seat, certainly easier.

Is this a DE or an earlier car.... 190k is a spring chicken compared to 329k in my blue one and those seats are still good

I have a stiff back so sit on the bolster and then swing my legs through 90 degrees to get in the car.
Over ten years its taken its toll...

A local upholsterer might be the cheapest solution.  When the seat on my old Rover died, the local garage “knew a little man” and it came back looking new.

What about trying to find a LHD car as the seat will be less used?
