There was a 9-4X at the recent MotoExpo at Canary Wharf.    It had all the current Saab models as well as many other makes.

You're not the only one who saw it. I went there too.  :D

Like the 9-5, it looks so much better in real life. My favourite was the 9-5 SportsWagon though. Very nice.

I took a few pictures. Wasn't able to take many as wasn't alone and couldn't spend as much time on the stand as I would have like to. Haven't got them to hand. Will try to post some later.

I think I like. Would need 7 seats, though :(

Does it come across as 'big' when you are next to it? or on the smaller side...?

It's difficult to say how it felt from the drivers seat.  Not the fault of the car, more the fault of the display mode.  The car was open and unattended and the electrics were disabled, so I couldn't adjust the drivers seat and it was a bit cramped as it was set.  But it had a panorama sun roof which was high enough to give me headroom and that is something that I usually have a problem with. And plenty of room sideways.  I didn't try the rear seat.  And it was in left hand drive. As was the 9-5 estate that was there.

It certainly didn't give the feeling of being big and unwieldy, but the finish did feel a bit American,, but not as much as I had expected.

If it matches or improves on the booth space of my 9-3 classic I'll have one.
