My original Saab 9-5
« on: 12 November 2020, 09:35:05 PM »
Sorting through stuff for our house move, and I came across two pictures of my first Saab, V reg 2.0 LPT Ecopower. Not even an SE!!!

5 speed manual, velour seats, AS1 audio, 16" 10 spoke alloys etc. 150bhp.

No it didn't handle like a BMW. Did that matter? No.

Was it fast enough? Yes (but could have been remapped I guess ;) )

Was it the most comfortable car I ever owned? Yes.

Was it the car I missed the most when I traded it? Yes.

Where is it now? I don't know - the reg has not been known for MOT/Tax check etc for years, so either written off, exported, or on personalised plates....

Would I have another one? Yes!!! Maybe one day ;)

Exactly, my first Saab set me back £8500 when it was 3 years old.

My second Saab set me back £1250 when it was about 12 years old ;)
