Have a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.  :D

There seems to be a problem with fellow Saab forum UKSaabs. (As at 0538 today.)
When trying to "Enter (Forum)" from the initial start up web page an error message is shown -

"General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) [2002]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists."

Unfortunately in my case I cannot contact an administrator if I cannot access the site. They may already be aware of the issue, but just in case they're not, could anyone here alert them if they know how?
Thanks, Ron.

A UKSaabs member recently posed this question,
"I was wondering as I have a remap on my aero, would taking my car in for a winter check and they did a software update; would that reset it back to standard?"

There were no replies to his query but it left me curious.

My thoughts are that being a Saab if the car had a Hirsch performance upgrade would that automatically show up upon connection to the system?
If so, what would the technician's next move be?
If other than a Hirsch remap, again, would that show and either way would trying to download / downloading the update affect the remap?

Over at UKSaabs a member posted a query regarding a mystery light on the audio control panel. Since I own a similar model to his I thought I'd assist by looking up my car's audio handbook ... no joy there so on to the WIS & EPC ... again to no avail. His thread drew no answers either. Now I'm as puzzled as he. I've included a photo to illustrate its location.

If you go to No.8 - The Selection knob to the right of the panel there's a small circle at the 11 o' clock position in relation to the knob. This is the mystery light. Looking into the lens on mine gives the impression that it would show red if lit. It appears in the handbook illustrations for all three variants of the system, i.e. Saab Audio, Saab Infotainment & Saab Infotainment Plus. Can anyone here at STT solve the conundrum?

The n/s rear wheel bearings require attention / replacement. Upon checking the WIS and EPC I cannot see the bearings listed or referred to as individual items; am I correct in assuming they are only supplied as part of a complete wheel hub? Thanks.
