Locking wheel nuts
« on: 16 August 2013, 09:13:35 AM »
Not being a fan of locking wheel nuts, especially those that come with the brittle socket, I still have a set of ordinary nuts from my Peugeot 405 Mi16 from way back when. Before having a look myself, would these replace the locking ones on our 9-5 estate?

Take out a bolt from your car and compare it side by side.

Check thread pitch - the two should slot into each other.  Diameter.  Length.  Angle of taper on seat.  Spanner size.
