People have been going crazy round here and emtied every staion of all fuels.

Luckily I filled up last week as I was off to the Lakes last weekend.

Drove gentle up Thu and Back Sunday and managed to still have 3/8 tank left.

Only needed to do 60 miles this week, so I'll be fine for another 10 days of so.

Just checked the wifes car as she thought that was nearly empty, but it's actually full and only dome 31 miles since filling up in August.

So we have about 700 miles left between up, enough for a month or so.

Plastic rods if anything like our old 206.

We had a couple snap in the 8 years we owned ours and it casued 'quite some fun' driving it like that.

I agree, 47 ohm 2W  (as denoted by the 47 on the board, and the yeloow, purple black gold  (4, 7, *1, 5% tolerance) as on the DIYnot link .

Probably depends what is written around other resistors.

I see E1, guessing electrolytic...

is there a 45, 46, 48, 49?   if so then component number....

search interweb for any oard numbers to see if you can find one..

I'd say at 33 yrs, some of the capacitors will certainly be bulged/dried, significantly reduced in capacity....  which will lead to other components failing.

Gut would say a small (2w?) wirewound of metal film resistor....  but I could be wrong.

something like this thats burnt its coating off

Unlikely a fuse given it's location and fixing.

Have a BT acct (and my ISP)
An old Paston.co.uk account from 1995
and 2 domains where each can have 1000 email addresses.
Oh and my Googlemail one.

I just use Thunderbird to manage, sent/receive everything

We until last yaer had a Moto G1, G2 and G3.

The G1 was finally getting too slow and full so we plumped for a pair of G7 Plays to replace the G1 and G3 (broken screen and eats SD cards)

Now thinking of a G9 Play to replace the G2.

They all do everything we need.

Just try it, it may have Saab at the bottom of the list, or under 'other'.

I have one and have used it for logging.

That's a common problem with the top inlet pipe on the TTid  (30psi takes it's toll)

No, but a friend has just got rid of theirs as too limiting and too expensive in battery rent for the miles they were (could) do.

Sold it and bought a Ford B-Max...

Wifes April 2008 Aero TTid is on 99,933, I'm now not allowed to drive it incase I take it over 100,000.

But it hasn't moved for 3 months..... last topped up with £24 of derv in mid April and has only done 60 miles since.

I did the 222222 think back in 1998 and the 250000 a year later

My cheapest would have been my old 1985 C900T8v

Bought for £700 @ 125,000m
Drove it for 5 years before it got rear ended and written off. I was paid out £650
Ins co. refused to take it away, so I drove it for 2 more years until the fearbox failed at 262,500m

7 years with boost wound right up.
137,500m
cost £50 + fuel, ins, tyres, brake pads and 1 head gasket.

12.2v is not a charged battery....

13.2v is nearer charged.

I'd say dead/dieing battery, or a bad lead (earth), or the +ve at the battery

The crack looks to be where the 2 rubber compund joint. is it just a colour difference in them?

Now that's annoying.

Which remonds me, I need to find myself a replacement facelift centre vent.
The left centre adjuster on mine moves by it'self and ends up pointing in very odd places annoying the wife.

And if I'm doing that, I may as well refit my Hirsch dash too.
