For quite a few years now, I have been producing posters for local community groups and events. I have managed this by using nothing more than PowerPoint.
Recently, I have been doing some posters for some of the bands that my son is in, and it got me wondering if I ought to get some more bespoke poster design/creation software.
I had a quick look yesterday at things like CorelDraw and Adobe etc but most of these seem to be around £300, and I don't want to spend that to find out the software is not quite what I need. Has anyone used any software to design and produce posters that they could recommend?
