New Saab 9-5 (2010 on) / Oil/engine issue

I just recently bought a 2011 9-5 from a dealer that had several still "new." I drove it back from New England and after about 6 weeks, it has 2000 miles on it. On the drive back, I got a low oil warning and put a quart in. A few days later, I noticed a minor amount of oil on my garage floor, and so I put down some paper. Very small leak, but after about 4 weeks, I got the low oil warning again and put in another quart. Took it to a repair shop, and they couldn't find a leak, as it seems to be quite slow.
Additionally, I have recently noticed that I occasionally get a puff of blue smoke when I accelerate. Not all the time, and I'm not sure if it's on a slow accelerate or a faster one as yet. Also, I've had it idle roughly at stoplights a handful of times in the past 2-3 weeks.
Some Google searching suggests that because the car sat for so long that it may have some issues with the valve stem seals. Can anyone diagnose the problem or know if they could be related?
