Sat in the queue to get out of work this evening, and there was a bong. I looked at the SiD and saw what maybe my first pukka fault in 6 months of ownership......

check the wiring to the connector(heat damage)..the saab system tells you the bulb is failing before it actually blows..

Hi Jon,

you mean the connector to the bulb holder in the corners of the boot where the light clusters are? Am I looking for signs of melting of the sleeving or bulb holder?

I've read that this warning pops up as the bulbs age, and to replace them in pairs when one goes.

Would this warning be stored? Presumably I can just clear it with a fault code reader once I have swapped the bulbs.

The code disappears when the bulbs are back in spec.
