Lumber support broken?
« on: 31 July 2018, 07:49:29 PM »
This may have been discussed on here before, but my driver's seat has lumber support - only when you turn the wheel from end to end, nothing happens in the seat. Is it a case that a linkage, belt or rod has come off the mechanism? If so, how on earth can one fix that, and is it straightforward? Seat is a manual, non electric, non heated seat :)

One of the 2 cables has probably snapped.

How do you access these to fix?

back lower centre rear panel of seat comes off.

side bolsters are just clipped into it by a channel plastic, which you can part by starting at the bottom and splitting open
also a small cable tie centre bottom to snip

then drops and can be removed.

you can then see cables and mech.
