You can see the battery in the photo. with the fuses next to them and the washer fluid pipe which is also on the right hand side of the car. The photo is taken by standing on the right hand side of the car facing towards the left hand side and not stood in front of it.

the airbox is on the right and the UEC and Battery are on the left..

Left and right hand sides on a car relates to you looking forward from the driver's seat.  Not when looking backwards into the engine bay!!

Are your struts on the right side! :D  :D
