These guys are very good, supplied the compressor for my Signum, the pattern part was genuine with the GM sticker sliced off so name was on it, perfect fit.

Bugger!!

It isn't to bad at the moment and it only does is when the weather is crazy hot.

Looking at it, it might just be the top hose that's on the way out.

Few weeks ago I parked on a restaurant carpark and noticed drips of oil (or so I thought), couldn't find the drips underneath so I put it down to another car.

Just pulled onto my drive and noticed drips again, lifted the bonnet and noticed green liquid on the fan surround, on the larger rubber hose next to the metal crimped join, and also a small dribble just in front of the airbox.

Am I right in thinking that green is aircon fluid? And if so is it possible to use an additive that seals small leaks??

Ahh the old push it through from the rear trick

Ta very much, it has 3 clips in total, 2 underneath. The plastic holding clips have gone brittle and let the spring clips fall out. I've superglued a couple of thin plastic pieces to stop the clips going to far back and dropping out again.

I'll give it an hour and see if its enough to hold them, if it doesn't work I'll dig out the JB weld

Heard something drop onto the pedals over the weekend, had a look today and found a metal clip about 15mm wide and 40mm long. Not a clue where it came from until I noticed that the light switch cluster is loose. It still works but its not clipped into place. Hence the clip I found by the pedals. Any idea how to re-secure it?

Red hot sunny day and the can went pop

It's a 2.0 Aero saloon
Just got home after having the tyres fitted, I've checked the owners manual and it does list W as the correct speed rating. V is okay on 16" wheels.

I've phoned the tyre place and said I ordered the W rated ones but had been told that V is okay but the owners manual states no rating less than W should be fitted and they agreed to swap the tyres for me, possible have them in stock this afternoon, if not its going to be Monday.

While I think they had no option, I think that is ultimately quite good customer service.

I have to admit they are a good outfit. £150 for 2 Avon ZV5 tyres isn't bad at all and they are always helpful

My front tyres are 225/45/17 91Y
My rears are 94W which I believe is the correct fitting

The tyre fitters are replacing the front with V rated tyres and say they are okay for the car.

Any thoughts on this ??

No reset found

I've set the date forward 2 years and did it that way

Just collected my 9-3 Aero after having its 150000 mile service

Few shocks in store

Price £352.00 ouch
No 3 spark plug was just sitting there, covered in soot and never been tightened, good old Concept Saab in Brum that did the last service. Glad I don't use them.
Screw stuck in front tyre although its not losing air unlike rear tyre that drops to 11 psi in 2 weeks and no puncture detected :(
Steering lock on full causes the wheel to rub against the inner wheel arch trim, mechanic has a letter from Volvo stating that the new V70 has an aluminium plate fitted to the arches to stop the tyres wearing down the wheel arch trim ??? VERY STRANGE
Fuel filter was well and truly stuck !!! They got it off but had to partly dismantle the locating bracket thing and clean it out. Doesn't smell of fuel so far so fingers crossed.

Now the biggie

How do I reset the service interval and oil quality monitor. I've done it before but can't remember :((

The new ones are a bit harsher than the old ones. But it sits level now with the same gap over all 4 tyres. It was a huge gap at the front before. It definitely feels better on the road and corners like Automan from the 80s.

It does feel a bit boy racer though, but hopefully it should all bed in pretty quickly.

did the springs look different to you?

They do look stick thin compared to what I've had fitted
