I think that we are at "that stage" in the history of the 9000. I needed an air con hose the other day, so I called the usual breakers. Most gave me the same comment: "haven't had a 9000 in for a while". So I think that those owners with weak moral fibre have scrapped them in the last couple of years, but those of us made of sterner stuff (or with an inability to chose a suitable replacement) are keeping them, and so the supply of second hand parts is drying up. This is not helped by the profiteering nature of Saab. The air con hose was available from Saab for about £100, but only on a VOR order, which cost £42. Now to me, a VOR order should be here tomorrow, but no, this would take 3 days. In others words it was a standard order with a £42 surcharge. Fortunately I found a second hand part eventually.
