My old 9-5 Aero joined the club Plus Xenon issue
« on: 17 September 2020, 05:26:41 PM »
My old bus turned 200,000 miles last week!!

Had a fault with the xenons, the level fault light came on, both headlights were not pointing correctly
Mechanic changed the load sensors, nope
Changed wiring, nope
Changed both headlights for known ok second-hand, now works fine on the original load sensors and wiring.....
Tech 2 was showing no faults....

You have to be careful checking the Xenons with Tech2.  The fault codes don't show up on a "Search All" from the general diagnostics section.  You have to drill down the menu to the headlamp bit and run the diagnostics there.

Sometimes it's just easier to do the "search all" for fault codes
