The Saab Meeting at Hazeldene Farm is on Sunday 6th September from 12 noon to 5 pm.
The location is on the outskirts of Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Not too far from Junctions 18 & 20 of the M25.
Every year the farm hold an Open Day and Country Fair. It is a charity event to raise money for the Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Air Ambulance. The Air Ambulance is expected to fly in and leave during the day (subject to weather and emergencies).
The Open Day includes lots of things for the whole family including children. Craft stalls, Bouncy Castle, Beer Tent, Burgers and Hot Dogs. Farm Walks etc. Have a look at the publicity flyer below for more details. This is a family event. There will be something for everyone.
I have arranged for an area of the field to be allocated for a display of Saabs. There will also be an area for Morris Minors and other Classic Cars.
Special details for Saabs
Saabs and their drivers will get in free of charge if they come and park in the display area. The normal entry fee of £3.50 will apply to adult passengers.
Cars for the display area are asked to arrive by 11.00 am. One or two may be allowed in later, but the organisers wish to prevent moving cars and pedestrians coming into conflict as far as possible. Cars can leave at any time.

We had the "final" planning meeting on Tuesday. It will be much the same as last year, except that adult passengers will be charged the £3.50 entry fee. Car and driver get in free if they park in the Saab compound on display.
In order to try and prevent cars and pedestrians meeting, please try and get there and parked up by 11.00am.
We have asked for better disabled facilities this year, and we have been told that there will be a disabled toilet on the field this year.
Here is a copy of the final version of the flyer that is being handed out at gatherings. If you want the pdf. send a PM to me.

Thanks to everyone who came! :)
Great photos Mark!
The gazebo is back in the store. I don't know how we're going to get it out again. I think my back is finished! it's too big for a small branch. it takes three people to move it and six to erect and dismantle it safely. :o
I talked to the Morris Minor people and the farmer, and everyone wants to do it all again next year!!
The date will depend on the Air Ambulance. They set the day.
