Thanks, that's interesting. Since the first post I've located the pipes at a breaker but once that source dries up I suppose everyone will have to roll their own.

I know the youngest 2.2 TiDs are nearing ten years old, but they're capable and (or at least my one is) still comparatively economical so it's a shame the parts supply is beginning to dry up.

Part of my 54 plate 2.2 TiD's power steering pipework has corroded and the parts are no longer available: apparently SAAB stopped making them in June.

I don't want to have to scrap the car if I can help it as it's potentially still got plenty of life. Apart from scouring breakers' yards for second hand parts (which I'm doing), does anyone have any suggestions for equivalent parts, or modifications to the still readily available parts for petrol 9-5s? The parts I need to replace are 5531793 and 5531496.

All suggestions gratefully received.
