2002 93 Aero 97,000 miles 205 BHP

My pads are fine my front discs look ok but my rear discs look rusted and not in great condition.

Should I get new discs all around or just repalce the rears? My front discs dont have much on a lip on them but wondering if there slighty warped hense the shuddering at speed braking?

Also what is the percentag of braking between front an rear? is it like 65% front 35% rear?

I just want my brakes to be good sharp and stop me like newer cars Ive driven

I have a 2002 93 aero, does anyone know if its possible to fit a cd player from a newer saab in? Mine looks dated and dont want to get a kenwood etc with flasing eq levels and bad plastic housing on the dashboard.

Any advice would be helpful? ::)

The Saab Clarkson and May were driving around in is owned by the DCA garage I take my Saab to (better than the main dealer by far) !!

I Think the saab they showed with the DCA SAAB number plate is a car from the garage I use in bucklebury reading!! Very smart car, shame they didnt mention the 2002 Aero or Viggen!!

Is it true that the 2 speakers either side of the parcel shelf are just standard 6x9's? If so are they easy to remove and replace. (my left speaker cant handle any songs with any remote amount of bass!!)

After speaking to DCA the blowing turned out to be the mainfold gasket, but they had to take the head off to remove the manifold as the bolts had seized and broke so need t be machined out or something along tose lines. Anyway these guys have been saab specialists for 25 years plus so Im sure im in capable hands. anyone else every had this? Im just glad it wasnt my turbo!!

Update:

After much deliberating the garage have confirmed its neither the manifold or the turbo but the gasket "blowing" which is making the burst of air noise.

they told me in order to fix this they have to remove the head and the manifold and are quoting £500 ish to fix. does this sound right?
Ive never heard of a gasket making a blowing noise everytime you accelerate.

Sounds like a cracked manifold or turbo. same thin :-\g happening to my aero at the mo.

I dont know until the garage has another look, i know nothing about cars so I couldnt say. DCA(saab specialists)Berkshire is where I get it serviced and they've offered me a reconned one for around £250 is that good? Ive got a Saab 93 2002 2.0(1985)  Aero 5dr. Whats the Model number for this particular turbo from Saab?

Thanks
