This weeks problem on my 04 93 2.2 TiD Arc, put the key in everything comes on as normal, then instead of the engine firing up, all that happens is a click from the left of the dash, try a couple more times, then the car fires up - anyone have any clues?

Cheers for that I'll mention that when I take it in next week

I'm wondering if anyone else on here is suffering the utter frustration I am with my '04 2.2 TiD, I had my turbo replaced about 6 months ago as it was leaking oil onto the MAP sensor, triggering limp home mode, since then the problem has continued, with the code p0106 & p2227 showing up, so had the MAP sensor replaced. OK for a couple of weeks, then engine light comes on and same codes coming up, garage cleans the sensor, again OK for a couple of weeks, then the problem returns, I keep resetting the light and erasing the codes with my reader but every day the problem comes back, I take it to my specialist and they haven't a clue whats wrong with the thing. It seems to jump into limp home mode when I pull up at junctions and slot 1st, I can't keep replacing sensors every few weeks has anyone else suffered this it is, quite literally, driving me to the point of wanting to torch the piece of junk!

The fan seems to work, it just vibrates like hell when you turn it right up, and did so as soon as I removed the pollen filter before a sprayed the WD40 on it, I think I broke the attachments on the pollen filter when I pulled it off, looks like a trip to the garage is in order

Yes it seemed to come off all too easy, if the pollen filter isn't sealed would that cause the vibration?

I've just removed the panel underneath the passenger wiper, removed the pollen filter and sprayed WD40 on the cabin fan as it was making a ridiculous screeching noise, put it all back together, now when I turn the fan on the whole dash vibrates and feels like its going to shake the dash to pieces! What could I have done thats caused that, I thought it was a simple procedure to oil the fan. Help!!!

I'm having hassle with mine (04 2.2 TiD) anyone know how to clean these things?

Cheers for that, as long as its nothing too serious and I can just keep clearing the error with the machine for now

Finally got my code reader today, after months of procrastination and driving round with the engine light on, it came up with 2 codes - P0244, which in the handbook says its a Turbo Wastegate Solenoid A Range/Performance, and P2227 which isn't in the handbook at all - can anyone shed any light on these codes and what they mean? Needless to say I got the machine to erase the codes, so I can keep an eye on things and see if they return.

Car is a 2004 9-3 2.2 TiD Arc, 113k, car drives perfect, getting well over 50mpg on motorway runs, no smoke or any symptoms that anythings wrong other than the engine light which comes on every few days
