Classic Saab 9-5 (MY 1998-2010) / Re: Tech2 Options

There's an option to lock the car after a certain time whether moving or not.

My dealer told me that he had not set it. And refused to do it on any car they sold unless the owner insisted. They did it in the past and it caused no end of problems for owners. Usually the auto locking when left unattended would only happen in unusual circumstances - frequently this was first noticed when loading the car before going on holiday!!

This is exactly what happened. I was loading the car to go camping the next day and have it all ready.

I got my mechanic to set my 9-5 so that my car doors all lock at 10KM/hr the other day. The car has locked me out twice now while i was in the trunk sorting things out. The first happened randomly and i went through hell to get home and back to my car running for hours! The 2nd time i rolled town the windows to see if it would do it again and it did!... Going to get the bloody thing changed back to no autolocks!
