Seats - Quick Question
« on: 08 January 2012, 12:36:39 AM »
Hopefully someone will have a speedy answer to this one.

Passenger and driver seat leathers are the same, right?  I can't figure anything that's different between the two.
Next bit of it; will leathers from a 2001 9-5 fit a 1995 9K?  They LOOK the same, but looks over the Internet can be severely deceiving.

I've found a set of leathers on the Web that are the right colour with very little wear at an amazing price.  I'd like to snap them up if the above answers are to the affirmative.

Advanced thanks!

I don't know the 9000, but most cars have holes in the outside edge side of the covers for the adjuster levers.

The seats from a 9-5 are very different to those from a 9000, I can't see that there's any hope of making the covers fit in any way shape or form, it's bad enough putting the leather back on the same seat you took it off from!

Thanks guys!  I knew someone here would know.  As far as the adjuster stuff goes, I tend to forget about that.  I often forget I even have the power adjustment.  Only part that get used much is the heat. :)

Anyway, thanks for saving me the money and time.  I'll just stick with taking to the patch machine this summer and fabbing up my own new panels.  If I'm going to have to modify, might as well do it with totally new hide, yeah?
