Different clocks speedo
« on: 26 April 2012, 11:28:23 AM »
Are all 9-3 speedo clocks I.e. all the clocks in one unit the same. Og9-3 that is. I wanna put a FTP one in my 2000 vert lpt but the one I'm watching says t7. Also how does the boost gauge work is it electric or just vacuum.

Are 9-3 and 9-5 clocks around my2000 the same.  I wanna add one with a boost gauge on my 9-3 lpt they seem to look alike on FLEABAY and 9-5 are cheaper.

I think your car has a red DI pack, a trionic 5 engine, so any turbo gauge on it would be a real one with a pipe to the inlet.

Even if the 9-5 instrument panel fitted (which I doubt), the turbo gauge on it would be electronic and driven from the ECU.  So it wouldn't work.
