You might expect to catch a reflection of the Street View car in a window, but not this - Google Street View car

Just looking for something on the M1 near Alfreton and saw that. I'm assuming that is a Street View car - not sure why they'd be going in convoy - not seen this before anyway.

Thats a really weird looking thing.

Maybe they had another vehicle to take over with the tasks and ran in shifts?

They set off and meet up at the same places to stay overnight. I met a couple of guys in a car park last year and spoke to them for about 5 minutes, they'd been all over the UK and France, they were in a LHD car in the UK at the time. Basically they were agency workers who were getting paid what they thought was a fortune (about a tenner an hour) for simple driving jobs and they said it was far better than working in a factory/warehouse etc. They said the hardest bit of their job was changing the hard disk on the recorder every so often.

I'm immortalised on Google streets.
I was just leaving the house by the back gates when a google streets car came down the alleyway between the houses. And I'm there for all to see.

And no, I don't live there anymore, and I don't have the car shown anymore, and the volvo T5 was owned by a mate who was driving us to the funeral we were setting out for.

Well who'd want to go down the M1 in a smart car with all that equipment on the roof?
