Automatic divorcing...

One of the 9-5's has been laid up for a few months, with the battery disconnected to preserve it

Reconnecting, she started first time & she had an MOT yesterday, which she passed. Strangely, there was no sound from the radio.

Fortunately, I had the Tech 2 with me, so I connected it & went into the audio settings. Quite surprised to see a divorce had taken place, so a quick ceremony was arranged & she's married again.

I thought that you had to positively divorce a head unit befor using in another car, but perhaps not...

I think I saw a post somewhere about the radio having some kind of backup battery in, if this fails then it will automatically divorce the radio and they are now starting to get to the age that the fail. I could be incorrect though.
