65K miles recommended service?
« on: 04 July 2013, 05:06:25 PM »
I have an '07 9-5 Aero that I bought a little over 2 years ago. It runs like a champ and, apart from oil changes, has required no attention whatsoever. I hope that this pattern of reliability continues. I am going to change the air filter but apart from that, what other service is advisable at the 65K interval? I had the transmission fluid changed at 48K along with a warranty repair of the engine main seal.
2007 9-5 Aero  129k miles as of Oct 2018

I'd change engine oil, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter, pollen filter, auxiliary drive belt is specified at 66k on earlier cars, not sure for yours. Possibly brake fluid (get the garage to test it) and coolant might want a change too. I'd also be checking the condition of all the suspension bushes around now as although they are unlikely to be poor enough to warrant replacement it's now something that should be checked yearly.
