9-3 SID2 Milemoter, Whats The Number To the Right of it?
« on: 19 February 2013, 11:40:08 AM »
I have an '08 9-3 with an SID2 (I believe) It has the main mileage on the left side of the SID, there is a second number exactly in line with the main mileage on the right of the SID.
I thought it was the trip computer or similar, but it doesn't change when I reset everything.

What is it (and can it be reset)?

Thanks
Skiddins

Did you press the small black button in the bottom left of speedo cluster next to the rev counter?

No, but I did earlier, I was looking last night when I got the car but it was dark.  :-[

After removing egg from my face I have now reset it. :)

Thanks

Why does it have two 'trips'?

Mileage bottom left, trip bottom right.

The SID also has from memory

Settings,
Outside temp
Average MPG
Dist (the 2nd trip)
DTE
Speed warning.

The 2nd trip either clocks up the miles travelled (up to 9999), or if you set it to a figure, will count down to a destination and provide an ETA...
