Morning.......I think this recent cold spell has nearly killed my battery.....So looking at a replacement from Costco (Bosch) for around £65......which battery is it tho as there are a few different ones....?
My car is a 2006 (56) MY07  93 2.8 Aero Convertible.

Put one of those Varta's in my 9-5 2.2 TiD a couple of years ago - car is left outside and still starts first turn even at below zero temperatures

The info from WIS and EPC isn't terribly clear but there are 3 options:

60Ah CCA 580
70Ah CCA 700
85Ah CCA 750

The 85Ah is for diesels: I would think that the 70Ah is for the 2.8 V6 as it has the biggest alternator and presumably the most electrical accessories.

Put the strongest battery in it that you can. It just gives you more grunt when you need it most. The alternator can handle it. They charge fairly modestly at 13.7 Volts from idle. Cold starts and short trips make life hard on a lead acid battery. If you can go the Calcium coated plates, which might be a little more cost, consider it, as they really deliver.
