9-5 rear ball joints
« on: 17 August 2014, 06:11:18 PM »
Can anyone tell me the outer diameter of the ball/spherical joints that press into the trailing arm? I might be changing them and want to make up a set of puller tools.
Cheers - Dave

Is it the two upper ones that affix to the chassis or the 4 lower ones?

I can give you dims for the tool for the 4 lower ones.

Its the 2 outer ones - on the hub/trailing arm - the rose joints, not the rubber bushes (subframe end).

Forgot to say, thread is M12 fine, although I'm not sure whether it's 1.25 or 1mm pitch.

Many thanks - and a proper drawing too!
