What we did find is a vast amount of oil spread over the Turbo . What we believe is that you have a blockage somewhere on the engine and The blockage as caused back pressure forcing the oil out of the Turbo and cause also a whisting sound.
This is what they have said in an e-mail back to me. We have replaced the oil supply and return pipes with new genuine Saab parts so they shouldn't have caused the problem.
The guys who did my DPF have said once turbo is back on car they'll have it and do a full diagnosis on their rolling road and see if they can resolve the issue. They'll do it FOC and if I take it i can have an ogle round their race car - which I think if I remember is a Cobra!!! he says dribbling.
Then when sorted it goes - I already have my eyes on a 2007 petrol Subaru Legacy. 2.0 non turbo with 165hp which is actually de-tuned to come to UK as original in Japan has 190hp as standard and the guys that did DPF say they can get it back to the 190 plus a bit and improve mpg - they do loads of Subaru and say the 2.0 is bomb proof and can easily take 450hp.................190 will do me with loads more torque.
All does depend on how much I get for the 9-5 as apart from this issue it's in top condition!
