Seat belt warning

Fun and games today.... OH went for a quick trip to the supermarket. Got home, and said that there was a seatbelt warning bonging and displaying on the SID just as she was coming back into the village. She said she stopped a couple of times and undid/reconnected the belt but it kept warning. After she got home, I took the car round the block - no fault found.
So I go in the lounge, and say "What exactly did you get from Tesco?" "Why?" says she. "Please answer the question" say I. "Well, some potatoes, crisps, and a few other bits. Why?" "Where did you put the shopping?" I said. "On the seat of course, where I always put it on short trips".
And that, dear readers, is my case for the prosecution......
I have now explained the mechanics of the seatbelt warning system.
Lololol.

;D My wifes Volvo always used to show message 'no rear seat belts in use' when a coat was laid on back seat. Modern blooming electrics.

Pete,  I wonder if your OH is related to my OH...it was her handbag in her case :D

My OH said that if she had anything heavy on the passenger seat, she would put the seat belt round it anyway... ;)
