Replacement service books?
« on: 11 November 2020, 09:15:17 PM »
Just spotted that my next service will cause my service book to be fully stamped. P29, Service 13.

Can one get replacement books so I can carry on getting stamped?

Yes.  I'm sure that SaabParts will sell them.  Try Bill Jones at www.saabits .com a phone call is best for odd parts like that.

If really desperate you can ones on the internet that are stamped up with as many services as you want!! :o

Thanks Will, I'll try Bill!!!

Not sure I want one pre-stamped ha ha!! I like to know what has happened to my car and when :D

I have all the bills since the previous owner acquired the car in 2012, plus all my own bills since I had it, so I like to think I'm building up a good history for the car :) This will only be the second car I have ever had where I have had to get another blank service book to add to the one that has filled up!!

I must admit I've long ceased to bother having mine stamped annually, partly thinking that a clutch of detailed receipts is more useful than a stamp, and partly since I don't imagine that I will sell the car. (And there were always inky fingerprints around the glovebox where the mechanic went to look for it ...) But I admire the punctiliousness!

I had a Fiesta years ago from 22k miles to 127k miles. I had to get a new blank service book to staple to the other so i could carry on the fantastic service history :D
