My son said a couple of weeks back that the heater control in his 57 reg Focus wasn't working and it was sort of clicking and stiff to turn at certain points

So have been meaning to take a look after watching a couple of Youtube videos to point me in the right direction. And today I finally had a look.

Unclip the surround trim, then unscrew 4 Phillips screws to be able to lift the radio out, and then the heater dial mechanism was accessible. A wire that moves as you turn the dial had come off and the wire itself was kinked. So I bent the wire straight and re-attached it....and bingo!!! All working again!!!

2 minutes to fit the radio and trim, and all was done.

Wish all jobs were like that!!!!
