vp44 diesel pump removal

Does any1 have a step by step removal guide for the pump . I'm just concerned about the opposite end to the 4 fuel pipes ...
 could someone share a few tips , please

Is that the pump on the 1.9 16v?

It's a really rather involved process that involves locking up various parts of the engine as it effectively has a timing chain. You really need a copy of the Saab workshop information system (WIS), it's simply not practical to put a procedure online detailing how to do it when WIS already exists.

Also, these pumps are coded to the car via techII I think.

Yes, the pumps are programmed to the car with Tech-II for immobiliser function and if you want to use a second hand pump then I believe it must have been divorced from the original car.
